Martin Welzel has performed in Germany, Finland, France, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, the United and the United States. In addition to his performance activities, he was acting professor of organ and improvisation at the University of Music in Saarbruecken (Germany) and is currently professor of piano accompaniment at Ludwig Maximilian University in in Saarbruecken (Germany) and is currently professor of piano accompaniment at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (Germany) and assistant organist at Munich Cathedral.
