Biography

In September 2019 Alison took over from Rev Peter Edwards as the Coordinator of Healing Ministry. Following being healed of M.E. by the Lord at Spring Harvest in 1996, Alison been involved in healing prayer ministry, leading the prayer team at Christchurch Methodist/URC in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, but also serving on the prayer team at MCHW. Her passion is for people to encounter Jesus the healer for themselves and receive healing and wholeness in every areas of their lives.

By profession Alison worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for 35 years, before retiring in September 2019. She is the developer of an internationally used therapy approach called ‘Colourful Semantics’. Calling on her many years of experience in training and lecturing, Alison has developed and run healing training workshops for the prayer teams at MCHW and Premier lifeline e.g. in the area of inner healing and deliverance ministry.

She is married to Robert and they live in Shefford, Bedfordshire. They have a grown up adopted daughter called Kirstie and a black labrador called Jess.  For recreation she loves to sing, improve her Italian and read historical novels!
