On Sunday, 30th June 2019 Methodist Central Hall Westminster held a ‘Membership & Confirmation Service’ in the historic Great Hall. Twenty people were welcomed into full membership of our local Methodist Church with four confirmations and sixteen transfers of membership from other churches. Three people also chose to reaffirm their Baptismal vows with water.
Revd Dr Martyn Atkins said, ‘Seeing people make Christian commitments is a wonderful privilege and we are delighted that God is continuing to use the ministries and people of our Church and congregation to call, challenge and bless people. We will be holding all our new members in prayer as together we seek to be – to quote our strapline – ‘a global Christian family following Jesus at the heart of London.’’
