Songs of Praise at Methodist Central Hall

Songs of Praise at Methodist Central Hall

We are delighted to welcome Songs of Praise to Methodist Central Hall Westminster for a special Sunday morning service on the 5th November 2017.

We are extending a warm invitation for everyone to join us at 10.45am in the Great Hall to sing well-loved congregational hymns written by Charles Wesley and Jazz Vespers with the Dan Forshaw Sextet.  The music will be recorded for BBC One’s Songs of Praise and will be broadcast in future editions of the programme.  Inspirational singing continues to be at the heart of Songs of Praise, and we would like to give everyone the opportunity to take part and to ensure we have a full congregation.  Where appropriate, we are asking people to wear their national dress as a celebration of London’s diversity.

To take part, please send your name, the name of your church, and the number of people wanting to attend to SOPcongregations@avantimedia.tv. Please include ‘Methodist Central Hall Service’ in your subject header.

In the event that we are oversubscribed we will allocate spaces on a pro-rata basis. The deadline to apply is Monday 30th October. If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the team at SOPcongregations@avantimedia.tv or on 0161 873 7073.

Songs of Praise continues to be enormously popular due to recordings like these and we hope as many people as possible will be able to join us for this special event.
