Holy Week at Methodist Central Hall

Today marks the second day of Holy Week, the most important week in the Christian year.

As we journey through this week, we would like to welcome you to our services and events that take place in our building and neighbouring churches.

Holy Wednesday – Stations of the Cross 6.45 p.m.
Visit to Westminster Cathedral, led by Canon Christopher Tuckwell

Maundy Thursday
7.00 p.m. Holy Communion – The Great Hall
Led by Revd. Tony Miles, Director of Music Gerard Brooks, the Choir and members of The Sanctuary

Good Friday
10.15 a.m. Meditation at the Cross – Great Hall Led by Revd. Dr Jongikaya Zihle
11.00 a.m. Dedication of the Homeless Jesus Sculpture
11.45 a.m. Gather for Procession of Witness to the Cathedral and the Abbey

Easter Day
11.00 a.m. Holy Communion – Great Hall Preacher: Revd. Michaela Youngson – Chair, London District Presiding: Revd. Tony Miles
5.30 p.m. Holy Communion – Chapel Preacher: Revd. Tony Miles
On Good Friday at 10.15am in the Great Hall, Revd Dr Jongikaya Zihle, Chair of the London District will lead our devotions at the cross.  At 11am there will be a service of dedication for the Homeless Jesus sculpture in the main reception, (read more here.) This will be followed by refreshments, before we move outside our building to begin the Good Friday procession of witness at 12 noon.
